January 2000–May 2003: Operations Manager and deputy development manager, CSK Deutschland GmbH — Tasked with setting up and later executing the operational management of the development department and the second Frankfurt office of a financial software company. I had 15 directs, and was deputy manager for up to 50 software developers.

• Created and deployed an initial management structure within the first 6 months.
• Doubled the development department to a size of 50 developers in the first 18 months.
